RELATIONSHIP HEALTH IS FUNDAMENTAL TO OUR WELL-BEING,
AND THOSE WE LOVE MOST
 ....

We are all embedded in relationships, the relationship to oneself, partner, children, friends, extended family, community, society, humanity and the natural world. The greatest joys and sorrows in life are experienced in relationships.

How we give, receive and perceive love, and many of the ways we have learnt to "do" relationships have developed in our most significant relationships from the time we were born. Many personal strengths and challenges are influenced by our relationships. Empathy, love, generosity and the freedom to openly express ourselves are fostered in relationship. Shame, fear, unworthiness, trauma, depression, anxiety, to name a few, all have their roots in painful relationship experiences.

We all carry some pain and hurt with us through life and if we are unaware of its influence, it will impact on our own wellbeing and relationships. Challenges in our significant relationships with family, partners and children can develop into behavioural and emotional patterns that can leave us (and them) feeling totally stuck, isolated and distressed. Over time this can lead to the breakdown of relationships, mental health and behavioural issues in ourselves and our children.

Seeking out professional help early, before these relationship habits and patterns become entrenched, can interrupt repetitive cycles, shine a light on underlying dynamics, repair relationships, improve communication and restore love, connection and intimacy.

For over 18 years I have been supporting individuals and their loved ones to develop greater personal wellbeing, deeper intimacy with themselves and in their relationships, helping parents and their children/ adolescents repair past hurts and resume a loving relationship.

Thank you for visiting my website and I invite you to have a look around and hopefully you will get a sense of who I am, how I understand health and healing and how I may be able to assist you and the ones you love.
